What makes you different from other builders?
Carolina Homes believes in an outward focus, towards the needs of the customer, rather than an inward orientation on the company image. We believe that image has to follow action. It is this integrity that has allowed us to grow as a business over the past twenty years, and sets us apart from other builders in Calgary's burgeoning economy.
How long does it take to build a house from the time I sign an agreement?
At Carolina Homes we understand the need for both timeliness and quality. A delicate balance must be struck so that you have a house where the quality has not been compromised, but one that you can move into at your earliest convenience. In almost all cases, your new home will be complete between seven and nine months.
What can I do to ensure that the building process moves efficiently?
There are many ways that you can help us to have your home built on an efficient time line. With the many features that families have to choose from, it becomes important that you finalize your options on your blueprint in a timely manner. When blueprints have to go back to our design department for a second time, delays occur to the start of your new home.
When you are choosing the options that will make this house a true home for your family, you have a small window of time in which to confirm the options you have chosen. However, as we move closer to the start date for your home, these changes will have more impact, as the details must be finalized in our Purchasing and Construction department before they can be applied to your new home design.
If your people are so good, do you ever have serious problems?
Carolina Homes' desire to make your home building experience a positive one does not go unchallenged, in the process of bringing together hundreds of individuals to commit themselves to thousands of different skilled steps. Though we rarely experience serious setbacks, small problems are known to arise, as with any project of this magnitude. Most of these smaller issues relate to communication. It is important that you and your sales representative maintain a relationship of trust and open communication, so that the likelihood of any decision being overlooked in the final planning is reduced.
