Pre Construction Timeline
First Meeting
Write contract, discussion between sales rep. and mortgage company, mortgage approved and rate guaranteed till possession.
Second Meeting
Select exterior colors, receive blueprints, review blueprints and note any minor changes, set up final meeting, have second deposit for final meeting.
Third Meeting
Discussion to confirm options, final selections of interior options (e.g. paint color, cabinet materials), provide second deposit and final mortgage approval letter (all conditions removed).
After the Meetings
Final blueprints are created and submitted to construction (construction begins approximately 4-6 weeks from this point), make appointments to select your flooring, countertops, and lighting.
